Hopscotch

I don't have a favourite book but I have to choose one to write about... so I choose Rayuela.

Rayuela (or Hopscotch) is a novel by the argentine writer Julio Cortázar, it was published in 1963. The author wrote it when he was on Paris, so the book takes place in France and in Argentina.

Rayuela is many books in one book, because Cortázar did a table of instructions of how to read it, so you can read it in order or disorder or however you want. This one of the things that I like about this novel. Also, I like because it has some chapters that it seems to be some kind of poems, and then continues to telling the story of the protagonist.

The plot is about an Argentine intellectual called Horacio Oliveira who lives in Paris and he has a  sort of group of friends with whom he discusses about literature, poetry and music.
Horacio has a strange relationship with La Maga, a woman who has a baby called Rocamadour. She's missing and he's looking for her through Paris.

Actually, I haven't finished this book because I started reading it in this past summer and then I started University, so now I don't have time to read it. I have plenty to read but for the differents subjects. I recommend this book to anyone who likes reading, because this novel it has differents topics.

PS: Yesterday was Julio Cortázar's 100th Birthday, so I'll post the doodle that google did in his honor.

Travel

If I have money for travelling, I would travel to London I guess but for no particular reason, just to know that country. Maybe, one reason could be that I like the british accent, it's so funny. Also, the final episode of the season four of Friends takes place in London and those guys had so much fun there.

London is the capital of England and a beautiful city that it has so many famous landmarks like "The Big Ben", "The London Eye" to name a few of them. The first thing that I would do in London would be go to the King's Cross Station, particularly to the 9 3/4 platform.

I'm a Harry Potter fan, I have read the all seven books and of course watch the eight movies, that's why I would like to go there. Then, I would go to the famous landmarks that I mentioned before.
I don't know if I would study there, I mean it has pretty important universities like Cambridge and Oxford, but I think that the education here compared to London is very different so it could be hard. But If anyone (God maybe) give me the chance to go there to study I would say "sure, why not?"
